East Windsor and Bolton are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Panthers will welcome the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. East Windsor will be strutting in after a victory while Bolton will be coming in after a defeat.
East Windsor took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Parish Hill by a score of 8-5. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Elias Jacobs and AJ Paradis made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Jacobs pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Paradis tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. At the plate, Jacobs scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Paradis scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evan Witzke, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Bolton didn't have quite enough to beat East Granby on Friday and fell 9-7. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.
Josh Wagner was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Christopher Mattei, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
East Windsor's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bolton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
East Windsor came out on top in a nail-biter against Bolton in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
