Soccer Game Preview: Richardson vs. Rockwall

The Richardson Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Rockwall Yellowjackets at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Richardson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Sherman a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Richardson were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Rockwall sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over North Garland on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Rockwall.

The win got Richardson back to even at 1-1. As for Rockwall, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Richardson suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Rockwall when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
