Softball Recap: Frankston Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frankston can now relate to. They fell just short of the Alba-Golden Panthers by a score of 12-11 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Frankston and nudges their season record down to 19-8. As for Alba-Golden, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Frankston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alba-Golden, they will face off against Shelbyville on Saturday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
