Soccer Game Preview: Walnut Grove vs. Greenville

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Walnut Grove take on the Greenville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday... Walnut Grove will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Walnut Grove's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Denison with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Mason Kutch and Heyden Mountcastle scored all three of Walnut Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Greenville won against Ranchview on Saturday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Wednesday. Greenville blew past Melissa 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Walnut Grove pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Greenville, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.
