Baseball Recap: Bellarmine College Prep Comes Up Short

Bellarmine College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saint Francis Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bells of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bellarmine College Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DJ Dunne, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bellarmine College Prep now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Saint Francis, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bellarmine College Prep beat the Lancers by a score of 3-1 on Friday.
