Basketball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Northgate's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Temple typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Northgate proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Temple Tigers by a score of 64-56. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Northgate has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.9 points per game. As for Temple, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4.

Northgate will take on Newnan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northgate knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Newnan likes a good challenge. As for Temple, they will square off against Pepperell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Temple is facing Pepperell at the right time seeing as Pepperell is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
