The Habersham School Patriots pushed their score all the way to 58 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 73-58 fall against Islands. The Habersham School has struggled against the Sharks recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
The Habersham School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Rowland, who scored 16 points. Hamilton Colley was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The Habersham School's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Islands, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
The Habersham School's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Coastal HomeSchool will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Islands, they and the Yellow Jackets will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Wayne County is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
