Basketball Recap: Dallas Thunder Takes a Loss

Dallas Thunder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. The match between Dallas Thunder and Tyler HEAT didn't end well, with Dallas Thunder falling 83-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), Dallas Thunder still had to take the loss.

Tyler HEAT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Coen Starr, who shot 58% from the field en route to 18 points and seven boards. Starr continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Eli Anderson, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds.

Dallas Thunder's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Tyler HEAT, the victory (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 38-2.

As of now, neither Dallas Thunder nor Tyler HEAT have any future games scheduled.
