Softball Game Preview: Mount Abram Roadrunners vs. Oak Hill Raiders

Mount Abram is 1-9 against Oak Hill since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Roadrunners will welcome the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Mount Abram has given up an average of 18.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mount Abram is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 15-0 to Hall-Dale.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Hill). Everything went their way against Winthrop on Monday as they made off with a 15-8 win. With that victory, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Mount Abram's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Oak Hill, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.
