Winnebago is 8-2 against Genoa-Kingston since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will venture away from home to take on the Cogs at 4:30 p.m. Winnebago will be strutting in after a victory while Genoa-Kingston will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Winnebago made easy work of South Beloit and carried off a 7-1 win.

Meanwhile, Genoa-Kingston came up short against Rockford Christian on Tuesday and fell 10-7.

Genoa-Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Winnebago, their victory bumped their record up to 8-16.

Winnebago was able to grind out a solid win over Genoa-Kingston in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 6-1. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Cogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
