Soccer Game Preview: Seward vs. Redington

The Seward Seahawks will square off against the Redington Huskies at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Seward's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Seward's tournament run continued when they took on Kenai Central on Saturday. The Seahawks came up short against the Kardinals, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Seward have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Redington was forced to settle for a draw. They and Monroe Catholic finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Redington's draw gives them a new season record of 2-2-1. As for Seward, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
