Soccer Game Preview: Hendersonville vs. Owen + Official Tickets

The Hendersonville Bearcats will venture away from home to face off against the Owen Warhorses at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Hendersonville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Madison as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Even though Hendersonville got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Will Shealy was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Hendersonville hit Madison with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Giovanni Munoz (2), Sean Edwards, and Adam Schnitzer.

Meanwhile, Owen hasn't lost a match since September 15th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Avery County. Considering Owen have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Owen is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those six contests. As for Hendersonville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Hendersonville came up short against Owen in their previous meeting back in September, falling 4-2. Can the Bearcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
