Volleyball Recap: Fayette County Tigers vs. Winfield Pirates

Fayette County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Winfield Pirates. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.
The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 22-25, 25-10.
Aliya Stevenson paced Fayette County's offense, picking up 23 kills. Stevenson got some help from Addie Thomas and her 25 assists. Caylen Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.
Fayette County's win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayette County will welcome Lamar County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winfield, they will take on Marion County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
