The Winton Woods Warriors will square off against the Anthony Wayne Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winton Woods is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Winton Woods is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Sunday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Big Walnut 58-55. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 25th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Olmsted Falls typically has all the answers at home, but on Sunday Anthony Wayne proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. Winning may never get old, but the Generals sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.

Anthony Wayne pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points on average over those games. As for Winton Woods, their win bumped their record up to 26-0.
