Volleyball Recap: Washington Beats Le Mars for Their Third Straight Victory

Washington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Le Mars Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Chloe Peterson paced Washington's offense, picking up seven kills. Peterson got some help from Emily Akkerman and her 17 assists. Jade Jere controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Le Mars, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Unity Christian on the 18th. Le Mars does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
