Baseball Recap: Tushka Now 16-2 over Last 18 Games

Tushka barely beat Dewar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 11-3 win on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tushka has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Dewar fell to 29-1.

Tushka and Dewar should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Tigers will take on Hartshorne at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (18 vs. 215). The timing is sure in Tushka's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while the Miners have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Dewar (ranked eighth) will meet Latta (ranked 75th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
