Centennial is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Atascocita. The stars were shining brightly for the Huskies in a 65-49 victory over the Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Atascocita, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Timpview at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Thunderbirds have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Atascocita, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alexander at 8:00 p.m. on the 29th.
