Volleyball Game Preview: Avon Park Red Devils vs. Lake Wales Highlanders + How To Watch

Avon Park hasn't had much luck against Lake Wales recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Avon Park came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Sebring, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Red Devils couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Lake Wales came up short against Bartow on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Highlanders have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 12-25, 25-21.

Lake Wales now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Avon Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Avon Park suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lake Wales in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
