Basketball Recap: Antelope Piles Up the Points Against Atwater

It's playoff time, and Antelope had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their match on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 74-44 win over the Atwater Falcons. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Malichai Brown was his usual excellent self, going 9-for-13 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Quentin Mitchell was another key player, going 7-for-8 en route to 16 points and six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Antelope and bumps their season record up to 20-9. As for Atwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.

Antelope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-45 loss against Destiny Christian Academy on the 21st. Atwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
