Softball Recap: Wagner's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wagner came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bayside Commodores 17-2. Considering the Falcons have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wagner pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Bayside, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.

Looking ahead, Wagner will head out to face off against Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Golden Knights have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. Bayside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
