Softball Game Preview: Glenbrook South Titans vs. Whitney Young Dolphins

Glenbrook South is 0-3 against Whitney Young since April of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the Dolphins at 9:00 a.m.

Glenbrook South saw some tournament action on Friday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rolling Meadows.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Whitney Young sidestepped Rolling Meadows for a 3-1 win.

Whitney Young is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Glenbrook South, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

Glenbrook South might still be hurting after the 12-1 defeat they got from Whitney Young in their previous matchup back in April of 2018. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
