Football Recap: Hewitt-Trussville Piles Up the Points Against Pinson Valley

Hewitt-Trussville got themselves on the board against Pinson Valley on Tuesday, but Pinson Valley never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indians 38-0. Considering the Huskies have won three matchups by more than 31 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Hewitt-Trussville and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Pinson Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Hewitt-Trussville and Pinson Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Huskies see the field they'll take on Huffman at 6:00 p.m. on October 21. As for Pinson Valley, their break will end when they face Albertville at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
