Grantsville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Ogden Tigers by a score of 6-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cowboys also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Easton Webb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks. He has become a key player for Grantsville: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-7 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Krue Warren, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Grantsville's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 3-6 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Payton Cummings, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Grantsville pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ogden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.

Grantsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
