Football Recap: Andre Rogers Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Denison-Schleswig

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lincoln and Denison-Schleswig, and Lincoln kept the tradition alive. The Lynx came out on top against the Monarchs by a score of 20-7 on Friday. For the Lynx, this counts as revenge for the 22-7 win the Monarchs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andre Rogers, who rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries. Another back making a difference was Evan Lang, who rushed for 56 yards and one score on only seven carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lincoln's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
