Basketball Recap: Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls vs. Montbello Warriors
After flying high against DSST: College View last Tuesday, Rocky Mountain Prep SMART came back down to earth. The Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls came up short against the Montbello Warriors on Thursday, falling 56-32.
Leading Montbello to victory were Juanita Dixon and Brittany Saldivar. Dixon posted 20 points and three steals, while Saldivar went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points and three steals. Those 17 points gave Saldivar a new career-high. Jameya McMillion was another key player, putting up nine points and eight boards.
