Baseball Recap: Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES vs. Bloomsburg Panthers
After losing to Bloomsburg the last time they met, Mount Carmel decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES's way against the Bloomsburg Panthers on Thursday as the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES made off with a 9-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mount Carmel.
Johnny Morgante was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Brinkash, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with a stolen base.
Mount Carmel's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bloomsburg, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Mount Carmel will head out on the road to take on Southern Columbia Area at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bloomsburg, they will be playing at home against Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
