Soccer Recap: St. John's Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

St. John was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Bishop McNamara Mustangs 4-3. Given St. John's advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 35th in District of Columbia, while Bishop McNamara are ranked 89th in Maryland) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. John's pushed their record up to 8-4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five matches. As for Bishop McNamara, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-2.

As of now, neither St. John's nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
