Basketball Game Preview: Gainesville Bulldogs vs. Bradleyville Eagles

The Gainesville Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Bradleyville Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Thursday, Gainesville was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to Eminence.

Meanwhile, Bradleyville was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 75-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Koshkonong. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Gainesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bradleyville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Gainesville against Bradleyville in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the team secured an 83-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gainesville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
