Baseball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-7. They lost 10-1 to the North Ridgeville Rangers. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly nine runs.

As for North Ridgeville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

For North Ridgeville's part, the team relied heavily on Carter Clark, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Clark has posted since back in April of 2025. Matthew Flesher was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Coming up, Perry is taking a road trip to take on Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Ridgeville, they will host Midview at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
