Football Game Preview: Greeneview Rams vs. North Union Wildcats

The Greeneview Rams will square off against the North Union Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greeneview's defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so North Union's offense will have their work cut out for them.

North Union will be up against a hot Greeneview squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Rams simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Catholic Central 39-7. Considering the Rams have won four games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, North Union's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 39-35 to Graham Local. The Wildcats were up 29-13 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Greeneview will have to contain Nick Vanhoose as he made an impact in North Union's last game. He rushed for 101 yards and a pair of scores. North Union is 4-1 when Vanhoose posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Griffin Osborne, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

North Union's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Greeneview, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
