Football Game Preview: Pennridge vs. Harry S. Truman

On Friday Pennridge will take on Harry S. Truman at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Pennridge and Harry S. Truman will really light up the scoreboard.

Pennridge entered their contest last Friday as the heavy favorite, and they fully lived up to expectations. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past William Tennent 55-20. Among those leading the charge for Pennridge was senior Zak Kantor, who passed for 242 yards and 3 touchdowns. Kantor has been a consistent playmaker for Pennridge as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, Harry S. Truman might be getting used to good results now that the team has four wins in a row. They enjoyed a cozy 42-27 victory over Abington.

Their wins bumped Pennridge to 4-4 and Harry S. Truman to 7-1. The Pennridge defense got after the quarterback against William Tennent to the tune of seven sacks, so Harry S. Truman's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
