West Lafayette waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Twin Lakes Indians 71-44. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-44 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Twin Lakes lost, don't look at Bryce Wilhite. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points. Jack Kaufmann was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

West Lafayette pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Twin Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

West Lafayette will head out on the road to square off against Lafayette Jefferson at 12:30 p.m. on February 8th. As for Twin Lakes, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lafayette Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. Twin Lakes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.
