Baseball Game Preview: Grant Generals vs. Eisenhower Eagles

For the second straight game, Grant will face off against Eisenhower. The Generals will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grant has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 27.

Grant lost 17-1 to Eisenhower on Monday.

For Eisenhower's part, Jayven Wesley was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Wesley has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-24-1 otherwise. Santana Gordon was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Eisenhower always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. The last time their OBP was this high was April 2nd.

The win made it two in a row for Eisenhower and bumps their season record up to 7-24-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
