Baseball Game Preview: Ontario Jaguars vs. Diamond Ranch Panthers

The Ontario Jaguars will square off against the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Friday, Ontario came up short against Don Lugo and fell 11-8.

Eric Samaniego was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Samuel Rizo, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Diamond Ranch also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Chino by a score of 6-2. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

Diamond Ranch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Lomeli, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Diamond Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ontario, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Ontario came out on top in a nail-biter against Diamond Ranch in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
