Volleyball Recap: South Plantation Paladins vs. Everglades Gators
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Plantation had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Everglades Gators. The Paladins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.
South Plantation was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.
South Plantation has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Everglades, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.
South Plantation will take on Mater Academy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mater Academy Charter will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something South Plantation surely won't give up without a fight. Everglades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
