Volleyball Recap: Seaforth Finds Home Court Redemption Against Carrboro + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Seaforth, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Carrboro Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Seaforth never let Carrboro on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25, 25-9.

Naomi Stevenson paced Seaforth's offense, picking up 18 kills. Stevenson got some help from Abigail Valgus and her 31 assists. Valgus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Seaforth has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Carrboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seaforth is set to square off against their familiar foe Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carrboro will challenge rival South Granville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
