Volleyball Recap: Carmel Takes a Loss

Carmel was the 2-0 winner over Chicago Mt. Carmel when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Corsairs fell 2-0 to the Caravan on Wednesday.

While Carmel was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19.

Carmel has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-25 record this season. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carmel will take on Niles Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, they will face off against DePaul College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
