The Prairie View Thunderhawks are taking a road trip to  challenge the Fort Collins Lambkins  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Prairie View is looking for their season's first  win.
Prairie View's offense might be in the hot seat  on Thursday considering what happened against Rocky Mountain  on Friday. They were dealt  a  45-0 defeat at the hands of the Lobos.
Meanwhile, Fort Collins made easy work of Brighton  on Friday and carried off  a  44-22 victory. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  30-0.
Prairie View better keep an eye on  Jack McKeon. He was instrumental in Fort Collins' win, rushing for 143 yards and three  touchdowns on only ten carries. McKeon has been hot, having  posted two or more  rushing touchdowns the last five times he's  played.  Holden Irby was another key player, rushing for 65 yards and one  TD on only five carries.
 Fort Collins was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 260  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brighton only  rushed for 75.
 Fort Collins has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 39.0 points over those games. As for Prairie View, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
 Prairie View was dealt a bruising  49-19 defeat at the hands of Fort Collins in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  the Lambkins'  Justin Cranford, who threw for 193 yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 83 yards and one  score. Now that the Thunderhawks know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
