Basketball Game Preview: Choctawhatchee Indians vs. Tate Aggies

The Choctawhatchee Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Tate Aggies at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Choctawhatchee has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Tate will come in with three straight victories.

Last Tuesday, Choctawhatchee came up short against South Walton and fell 56-47.

Meanwhile, Tate didn't have too much trouble with Pace on Friday as they won 62-45. Given the Aggies' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Patriots are ranked 632nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tate's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Choctawhatchee, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Choctawhatchee came up short against Tate in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 80-68. Can Choctawhatchee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
