Basketball Recap: Lake Belton's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Lake Belton can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Jarrell Cougars. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

The win got Lake Belton back to even at 7-7. As for Jarrell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Lake Belton and Sulphur Springs will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Jarrell and Llano will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
