Volleyball Recap: Crawford Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crawford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Minatare Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Crawford was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Keslyn Vogel and Peyton Osmotherly, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Kylee Osmotherly and her 25 assists. Vogel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Minatare, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Crawford has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Chadron on the 16th. As for Minatare, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Creek Valley on the 14th.
