Normal University waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bloomington Purple Raiders. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Purple Raiders, too.

Normal University's offense was headlined by Ava Crabtree and Alyssa Wolf, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Morgan Petelin and her 12 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Normal University's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Bloomington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Normal University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Normal Community on the 27th. As for Bloomington, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Normal West on the 27th.
