Softball Recap: Estacado Comes Up Short

Estacado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Brownwood Lions.

Estacado's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brownwood, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Estacado will be taking part in a tournament against Hawley at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Matadors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Brownwood, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Burnet at 10:30 a.m.
