Clearfield has gone 9-1 against Roy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Royals at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Clearfield lost 3-0 to Northridge on Tuesday.

While Clearfield had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Roy came up short against West Field on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 23-25, 25-12.

Roy's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Clearfield, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Clearfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Roy when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
