It's playoff time, and Union had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Juab Wasps with a sharp 17-2 win on Saturday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.
Payzlei Parrish was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Kadyn Kettle was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Union was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Union moved to 17-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Juab, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.
As of now, neither Union nor the Wasps have any future games scheduled.
