Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Tallassee

The Valley Rams will challenge the Tallassee Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley has given up an average of 2.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Valley came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to Marbury. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Tallassee had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Holtville on Monday.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tallassee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Valley suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to Tallassee when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
