Volleyball Recap: Newburgh Free Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Minisink Valley + How To Watch

Newburgh Free Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Minisink Valley Warriors on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

While Newburgh Free Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Minisink Valley work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 18-25, 25-23, 28-26.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newburgh Free Academy will welcome Goshen Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minisink Valley, they will square off against Middletown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
