Volleyball Game Preview: Raymond Central Mustangs vs. Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride

The Raymond Central Mustangs will take on the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride on Thursday. Roncalli Catholic took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Raymond Central, who comes in off a win.

Raymond Central not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Arlington with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Raymond Central's got stronger as the match went on, holding Arlington to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Roncalli Catholic suffered their biggest loss since October 29, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Skutt Catholic.

While Roncalli Catholic was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-23.

Roncalli Catholic's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10. As for Raymond Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
