Ridgeview is 10-0 against Bakersfield since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will look to defend their home pitch against the Bakersfield Drillers at 6:00 p.m. Ridgeview will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Ridgeview is returning to their home pitch after beating Stockdale on theirs, despite the fact Stockdale has dominated at home this season. Ridgeview had just enough and edged Stockdale out 3-2 on Tuesday. Given the Wolf Pack's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridgeview hit Stockdale with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aiden Macias, Javier Villatoro, and Angel Ceballos.

Meanwhile, Bakersfield kept a clean sheet against Bakersfield Christian on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's two games straight that the Drillers have won by exactly two goals.

Ridgeview pushed their record up to 14-2-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those seven games. As for Bakersfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8-7.

Ridgeview took their victory against Bakersfield in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 3-0. Does Ridgeview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bakersfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
