Baseball Recap: Bentonville West Takes a Loss

Bentonville West managed to slip by Fayetteville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 10-1 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Bentonville West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Veira, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Bentonville West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Fayetteville, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-5.

Bentonville West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fayetteville, they will face off against Blue Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
